Thoughts on this please
My 3 year old twins have been given what I consider to be an obscene amount of gifts. Only a few from us but from other family members. It is there birthday in 3 weeks time. There are over 40 gifts each not even been opened they simply got fed up just wanted to play with favourite few. Do you think it would be wrong to not give them to them, instead open them and re wrap in birthday paper and give a few of them to them as birthday presents from us even though we didn’t actually buy them and send the rest to charity? Then ask family members to put money in their bank accounts in future I think it’s ok to do that as I am not having them so spoilt with material things. My friend said you can’t do that when you didn’t buy them! What do you think? X
