What’s the longest your baby has gone without pooping. My lo is 10 weeks and bowel movements have been an ongoing issue but it’s been about 7 days now without a proper poo.
She is a bottle fed baby and has really been struggling. I’ve had her a 3 appointments at the gp about it and I’ve done what they ask. She’s on a laxative medicine twice a day and I’ve used suppositories on her but it’s not really done much.
She has gone but it’s literally either a skid or a small amount defo not what I’m expecting after this long. She is fairly content most of the day but come evening she is a nightmare, crying and squeezing in pain with nothing much happening. Is it time to head to the hospital. As I’ve no idea how to relieve her of it
We have tried cooled boiled water, massage her several times a day done basically everything that has been suggested by HV and GP

My neonatal nurse told me to put Vaseline round my baby girls bumhole either with my finger or cotton bud. Didn’t help her but might help you. I used to hold her legs up and eventually it would come out x
My midwife advised giving my baby a bottle of liquid pre made milk (plastic bottle type) sold in supermarkets and can be easily poured into the bottles you have. I warmed mine up too, my son seemed to prefer that 🙂 that worked for my baby, he had no problems since x
