PPP how do ladies with depressed partners cope? I’ve been with my partners for 8years we have a 2year old and a newborn. He doesnt help with either. I understand he has depression he won’t get counciling and he won’t return to the drs for further help. I’ve tried being supportive and a loving but its unbelievably stressful. His his personal hygiene is awful, (he does work) if hes not at work hes sat on his phone or sleeping. Even though he works he spends all of his wages eith nothing to show for it. I pay all the bills. I honestly do everything on my one,he won’t even watch our 3day old baby so I can shower. I just need some advice on how to help him. I’m beyond exhausted and it’s starting to feel like I’ve got another child rather then a partner.

I had post natal depression I still managed to find a way to do kids house etc while my other half worked all time! He’s clearly taking his depression as an excuse for being lazy too
first off i suffer serverly with depression the money side yes that is part of it but i bring my son up i do everything he needs he is using it as an excuse dont get me wrong some day i could just do nothing but if his depression is that bad he would have gone and got help x
Sounds like a lazy good for nothing and uses depression as an excuse👊👊
Has he got medication u need to tell him he has to goto drs for meds if he hasnt got any or to go get dose put up .xx
