Need some advice.
I have a 10 year old who is so disrespectful it’s unreal. It’s usually just me he does it to but lately he’s starting to do it to dad too. It’s been going on for a very long time. He tells me he hates me if he can’t get his own way and says mean things to me. Today the stuff that has come out of his mouth as really hurt me and he thinks if he says sorry then it’s all finished and there’s no consequences for his actions 😔 we’ve tried taking his things from him and grounding him. Also tried putting him in his room for a full day so he can think about how his behaviour and words affect other people. I would say I’d like help before it gets out of hand but I think it’s already gone past that point. Please tell me what I can do, I feel like running sometimes. The relationship is so tense 😔 thank you for any advice
