Step father discipline child!.?…

I was wondering what people’s views where on this matter…
I have a 2 year old boy who I’ve brought up on my own since he was very small..
He is extremely naughty at the best of times but he is a very loving boy!.
Anyway, I have been with this man 9 months and I’m pregnant…
He knows how much I struggle daily with him whilst juggling university and work..
I am absolutely exhausted by everything especially my child!…

I was wondering do you allow your partner to also discipline your child…
He only slightly raises voice and only treats him the way I do,, so nothing I don’t agree with myself…
He will put him in his room for 5 minutes time out etc…
more often than not his intervention works a treat so then my baby apologies and is good afterwards.
Sometimes I wonder if I should allow him even though I don’t see the problem really…we do not live together… only see each other a few times a week
