Private post please( long)
Don’t no we’re to start..
I’ve been with partner for 7years and have 8 month old baby together. Recently I am at a loose end as I’m so fed up with him.
I miss him being around as he works in the week and then chooses to do extra work on evenings or weekends for extra cash. (Which does not benefit me or baby) he uses to gamble as he has a mild addiction. so all that extra time away from family in my eyes is wasted. I’m constantly with my daughter doing everything. Feeding her bathing her etc. Yes he helps now and again but he just moans and wants to sleep in saying he grafts at work .now am I being unfair expecting him to get up and help me when he is at home or should I leave him to sleep most the day and carry on doing extra work for extra cash. It’s really frustrating me that he throws in my face his working. I get a wage from work for maternity so I don’t need extra cash personally. But it’s like he don’t see what I do as a job!( looking after baby all day everyday) and thinks I have it easy. I’ve spoken to him about needing him around more as a family and he just moans ! Any advice.

  • Think yourself lucky my partner works away Sunday to Friday morning. Sleeps all day Friday usually if not he’s asleep early Friday night till midday Saturday. I’m bringing our 2 kids up & he’s bringing the money in. I don’t expect him to do much at all when he’s here but he helps clean & takes me anywhere I want as well as the kids so maybe just tell him to pull his weight and help out abit more ☺️ x

  • Mild gambling addiction?? No such thing!.. he’s either an addict or he’s not.. if he’s putting working to get money to gamble I’d say he’s an addict.. you have a choice to put up with it or not..
