My daughter went to A&E last night as she had a very swollen face one side and in a a lot of pain with it. After waiting around for 6 hours we left with antibiotics just in case it was an infection but could be mumps but can’t know for sure as swap got to be done Friday.

Has anyone else had this happen to their child and also can I work with children if it’s mumps as don’t want to pass it on to them.

She’s fine in herself no temp eating drinking and playing. Just pain and swelling.
