Trampoline Causes Heated Argument

After the recent strong winds there has been some damage to people’s gardens, fences and even vehicles, but one person had a trampoline blow into their back garden, damaging a fence and smashing a shed window, accidents happen right?

We have kept the name anonymous but the lady posted the above to her local sales page and the owner of the trampoline immediately came forward to say it was hers.

The unnamed woman actually went round and dismantled the trampoline and took it away however she did not pay for the damages.

The internet obviously had to have its say, and no one can agree on what is the correct outcome.

John Lee Barry said “How hard is it to anchor your stuff down, especially when we were all forewarned strong winds were coming? Yes she should pay for any damages and apologise, trampolines are taken by the wind so easily its common sence to tie it down, insurance should cover the damages anyway”.

Amanda Connor replied with “It is an act of god, it is not the owner of the trampolines fault it blew away and the other person needs some life lessons in manners, plus could have had a free trampoline, her garden looks so boring and it’s not like it has destroyed a new car or something it’s a bit of wood and one cheap arse window”.

What is your view on this, should the owner of the trampoline be expected to pay fo damages, what would you do if one blew into your garden or yours flew away?
