Why My Home Is A Mess When I Am Feeling Down

When my head plays up with dark depressing thoughts my house is a mess, there’s clothes & rubbish everywhere, the sheets go unchanged for weeks and the floor doesn’t exist, the children will be fed and bathed but chaos will be all around.

Once I find the motivation to be happy my house gets scrubbed, all my clothes even the unworn ones get washed, ironed and put away, my walls get scrubbed so there’s not one mark, my floor is swept, vacuumed and mopped, the sheets get changed finally and bed gets made, my makeup and shoes get organised and cleaned, candles get placed and lit to give off an amazing scent of aloe.. my hair and teeth are unbrushed and my legs unshaven, my cloths are loose and unmatched, my shoes are dirty.. once I feel the weight of my memories lift I shower, finally.

Relieved as the water covers me, my body Is hairless and exfoliated, my hair is treated and soft, my teeth are brushed and whitened and my skin is clear, you can see the glow and My energy is on a whole new level… some of you wouldn’t understand how much your house and appearance reflects your feelings so when you see me looking raggedy, my homes a mess and my hair is knotted it’s not because I’m “lazy” it’s because I’m stuck in my head and the lights simply won’t turn on.
