Afternoon ppp, anonymous.
I have a 2 year old and I’m also 29 weeks pregnant. I’m torn about what I should do. My boyfriend lives in with us a few months back and he does absolutely nothing around the house. I’ve asked, asked and asked again and I either get ignored or he says “yeah stop nagging” and then forgets so I end up doing it anyway. He works, which I understand but I work part time and I look after my son and I still cook us dinner, wash up, dry up, clean, Hoover, clothes washing, cat litter, bins etc and he does nothing. It’s really getting me down, these jobs I know are not hard but it would be nice to know he cares enough to help me when I ask for it. I just want him to do 1 maybe 2 things that’s all. I told him yesterday I want him to help otherwise i need to rethink the relationship and he ignored me. Then when I got home I stupidly thought he would have done something and he hadn’t so at midnight last night I had to wash up and do the litter. What should I do? Obviously I love him, and expecting his baby so I don’t want to break up. But I can’t think of anything else I can do? Am I overreacting? Is it my hormones or? Be brutally honest, I need to be told if I’m being stupid. Tia xxx

  • I’d say it’s worse for you right now with hormones, and it’s definitely a man thing 🙄but that doesn’t mean to say that it’s okay! I would have a proper sit down with him and see if that helps x
