Anyone else’s parter been taking the piss with work Xmas do’s? We have a 2 month old who is suffering with awful colic and reflux so evenings are pretty horrendous, from 4 til 10 she screams the place down and doesn’t settle
Last weekend my partner went out for a meal and a few pints, told me he’d be home by 10 the latest, got to 11 and he still wasn’t home so o text and he said he was just finishing his pint then leaving. Got to 12 and I text again, at 1 he replied saying he was waiting for a taxi, gets to 2 and he’s still not home so I called about 20 times but no answer, finally at quarter to 3 he rocks up like nothings wrong! Usually this wouldn’t bother me but he’s got a reputation for not making his way home (he was found just before we got together asleep on the bypass after trying to walk home!) had a chat the next day about him just keeping me informed, at least that way I can sleep and not be up all night worrying.
Well today he finished work at 1, they all go to the pub for a few pints after. He told me he’d be back by 6 latest, I text him at half 6 asking him to make his way home as our daughter had been screaming for over an hour and I hadn’t eaten all day, he said he’d be 10 mins (pub is less than 2 mins from our house) gets to 7 I text again get no reply, gets to 8 he strolls in and asks me if I’m grumpy. Well of fucking course I’m grumpy!
I’ve stormed out and left him with our daughter (he’s not drank a lot so is completely capable) I’m now sitting in McDonald’s car park treating myself to a large meal and a milkshake while the wanker starves at home! Getting to the point I’ve had enough, since our daughter arrived he never does housework and just leaves a mess everywhere, expects dinner cooked every day when he gets home from work! Sorry just needed a rant 😂

Just been through it my baby had a severe milk intolerance, reflux and other problems it ended our marriage when the baby was 7 weeks old bcz he just took the piss went about his life like he was single , meanwhile I was going weeks without sleeping barely eating running a buisness, a house doing school run twice a day looking after a poorly baby a litter of pups , cooking , shopping etc showed him the door x
From 1 in the afternoon until 8
Your partner will be too drunk to deal with a newborn I get what your saying but you could of left him for the day with her tomorrow
U enjoy that bloody macdonalds hun had. A baby with colic feel ur pain.. Think it’s all men I don’t no why we bother only a handful that will work come home and help Xx its good 2 rant xx
