Asking for a friend..

So she has always said to her I will not move in with you until we at least get engaged.. well to her shock 3 days ago he proposed with the booking of a wedding may I add where she always has wanted to get married and in 2 months time,she has to go and give notice next week.. now she is wondering where she stands as she has been claiming single throughout there relationship (been together for 6 years ) will she now get in trouble for now all of a sudden getting married? She petrified they aren’t going to believe her. I have told her to ring them but I’m worried she is going to put her head in the sand until it really is too late.. she doesn’t get housing benefit as they both own there own houses, but she still gets working tax credits ect.. x
