Basically, my daughter is now 7, and id like to take her away for a week abroad we both have the same surname however her father is on the birth certificate he has not seen her in 4 years, no contact or anything. I have no details for him, he doesn’t have social media he changed his number etc. I know he has some parental responsibility however she resides with me, I provide everything. Could I take her out of the country for a weeks holiday? As I can’t get a court order due to not knowing his abouts, I can’t get consent as I don’t know were he is (abusive relationship, he use to hit me that’s why we split) any advice?
