Can do a private post for me please?
I had to phone 111 at the weekend for my son and visited an out of hours GP, today I received a phone call from my GP practice to say I had phoned 111 and visited out of hours and they were just calling to see how my son was today and if I thought the antibiotics he was given are working and if he’s temperature has come down,
I thought this was very nice of them to phone and check up on him but I just wondered if this is normal and always happens after contacting 111? X

They did with me when took my little girl asking if I needed be seen again if I did I could have an appointment that day! I thought it was very considerate too for them to ring x
I’ve been seen at out of hours a few times in my pregnancy, sometimes my gp phones and asks how things have been since, sometimes they dont. Maybe depends on how busy they are
Yes I had this and the surgery explained that they want to know what level of service you received as it comes our of their budget x
If never had this with my daughter your gp sounds quite good
