Can i get a pp please.

I recently reconciled with my parents after a lengthy estrangement which meant they didnt know my children. It’s going well.

Basically when our initial fallout happened my oldest female friend turned on me and publicly shamed me on fb and exposed to the world some private family matters which weren’t hers to share. I was so angry and upset but I didn’t rise to it I just blocked deleted and closed that chapter of my life in regards to her and her children.
In the time since my parents and I haven’t spoken this girl has built a strong relationship with my parents, almost like trying to take my place. I’ve not said anything but it’s really quite upsetting. It has come to my attention that this girl has never told my parents what she said or did and how she not only humiliated me, but told people some very private painful things about our family. If my family knew they’d be heartbroken that somebody so close to them did that.
My mum just thinks we fell out over something silly and has asked if I’m ok for the girl and her children to be there on Saturday when I visit them.
I am so torn between not upsetting my mum and dad and just swallowing my upset and betrayal or telling her to go away . I’m probably just going to end up sitting there saying nothing and crying all the way home.

What would you do?
