Can I get a private post please? I’m nearly 7 months pregnant with my 3rd child (my 2 others are from a previous relationship) I have been with my partner for 2 years and he also has 2 other children, this will be long winded so bare with as I really really need opinions on if I’m hormonal, selfish or have a point, my partner and I both work, my eldest is in school and my current youngest is starting nursery next term…. we have his children over night 2-3 times a week, maintenance is paid with out fail, we provide all clothes etc , family holidays and always try to go out as a family once a month, however I’m now completely struggling, mentally physically financially, his ex has been a nightmare ever since we have been together, constant posts on Facebook aimed at mainly me, says I’m lazy with her kids- despite my OH working so it’s mainly me who has the children, he is having to work more hours as we have debt to clear before little one comes and I’m really really struggling to run around after 4 kids 3 times a week, she expects me to have them if she has plans knowing full well I have already been put on bed rest by the midwife for exhaustion and being run down, I really feel like I need a break or for us to just have his children when he is home also? Am I being unreasonable? I’ve also said when baby comes until baby is sleeping through the night I won’t be able to have them during term time in the week as he leaves for work at 5am and I can’t get 4 children ready for school/nursery (they go to different ones) as well as surviving on 0 sleep with a newborn, mummy’s help? Please no battering as I’ve literally cried my eyes out all morning just needing advice x
