Can I get a private post please.

It’s not really baby related, but after having my little girl I got the implant in. I have had it for around 7-8 months now.
While on it I’ve had regular periods. I had my regular period this month and then stopped, after two days I have started bleeding again but this time it is really bad. To the point where I’m having to wear maternity pads. It’s never like this and I already had my regular period this month. I’m also getting unbelievably bad cramp, to the point where it’s hard to even get up with the pain.
Has anyone experienced anything like this while on the implant?
I have an appointment at the doctors later today. Just wanted some advice really so I know what to expect or what they might say
