Can I get a private post please this is regarding my grandson …. my daughter suffered from pnd and the baby’s dad offered to help with my grandson while my daughter recovered she had my grandson as often as she could while she was still suffering twice or more a week . My grandsons dad wasn’t a ex partner but a one night stand and has been an excellent dad since day one … to cut a long story short my daughter for the last 6 months has been much better and has my grandson half the week and his dad the other half … and the last 2 months has said she wants her son back full time and dad agreed to this and things was going well … but the last 4 weeks dad took my grandson and refuses to return him … my daughter went to mediation but he’s refused to go … next stop will be court procedures … the police won’t do anything as they say he is happy and clean when they went to visit him after my daughter called the police as he wouldn’t return her son … the dad has a new girlfriend who is pretending to be mum and telling dad what to say … they even changed grandsons name And recently got him into a nursery without telling my daughter when she had already set up a nursery place in another school ….. we are stuck in what to do we was told by mediation we can’t grab grandson back as it could cause stress for grandson and court will be costly and my daughter will struggle to pay it but if it’s the only choice we will pay it …. has anyone been through something like this and can offer advice please … please be kind and no bashing she asked for help if dad CIA she was very depressed and suffers with anxiety thanx in advance sorry for long post
