Can I have a post please.
I’ve just been called a bad mum.
My daughter went to bed at 10pm tonight. (Later than normal as she wasn’t too tired). She is 2. She’s still wide awake in her room. She’s still in a cot. She’s not crying or screaming or anything. Just throwing things out the cot and playing with her dolls. I normally leave her to it until she falls asleep. Now tonight my friend is here and she says I should go sit with her until she falls asleep. I have never done this. Even with my eldest (who was 10 in Feb) if she isn’t upset or anything then I think it’s ok to leave her until she falls asleep.
What do other mums think? Am I a bad mum?
