Can I have a post to the private mums advice page please as I am asking for a friend?

If she lived in a house that her parents owned but she was paying them rent (her parents second home)… what help would she be entitled to in benefits? Would she get any help with council tax or anything?
(backstory – she is about to go through a divorce and move back to the UK with her toddler)
I know she will be entitled to child tax, child benefit and income support but anything else?
(also, is it that if she work less than 16 hours she can still get income support? – she says that she doesn’t want to miss much of her toddler’s early years so hoping to get a part time job as soon as she is sorted.)
And does child maintenance effect benefits?
It will be England she moves to, if that makes a difference?
She says that, after the divorce, flights and moving their furniture to England, she thinks she will probably have about £5-6,000 in savings if that also makes a difference to things she can claim?
