Basically the dentist I use to be at constant done fillings I was there nearly every month and always needed work doing . I got to the point they told me I needed loads of filling so I changed dentist who said 3 top up fillings without injections to numb and I was fine for 6 months . Every 6 months I was fine . I’ve not been for a year and I’ve been back today and seen the new dentist owner and I basically need a filling in every tooth. I’m gutted and basically said it would be £56 for the fillings but there silver but one tooth has a big filling in that will need an inlay as the filling won’t hold which is basically bumped me up to £244 for the treat and the other fillings. These are still silver fillings. It’s £110 per tooth for white fillings . I’m gutted and I don’t have the money to pay for the treatment. Also gave me prescription toothpaste to stop any other cavity again more money and has said go to see the hygeniest for a clean which is another £30.. how can 1 dentist say they were fine now all of a sudden I’m paying and it’s going to cost a bomb 😞
