Can I have a PP please x

Just a question in regards to my son he is 2 in march and in August he had tonsillitis for the first time then again in September, October and again now, I’ve asked doctors what can be done as it’s evidently gonna be a problem for him but all they have said is they won’t be anything till 5 but earliest they will do something is 3 has anyone else known different?? No bashing please just looking for advice.
