Can i have a pp please
I know people on the group and dont want them to worry.
Im 23+2 weeks pregnant (not my first) and the last couple of days ive been having pain in my legs and hips, to the point im struggling to walk. Today ive had pain in my lower back and around my bump area. Is this normal? Baby is still moving around and my bump isnt really that big. Should i contact my midwife? Any advice or similar experiences would be great xx

  • I had this when I was 23ish weeks, speak to your gp 😊 I found some exercises/stretches online and it eased loads, never had a problem towards the end of my pregnancy so was obviously just in need of management xx

  • Could you be having sciatica? Does it feel like a sharp shooting pain? Your description isn’t enough for me to understand fully, but it’s the only thing that comes to my mind as I had it as well, on both legs with my first, and now that I’m expending again, on my left only. Changing positions is really hard, I can’t sit on the floor, and a little bit of exertion even around the house sends the pain through the roof. If it is sciatica, it’s caused by pressure of the baby’s growth on your sciatic nerve, so there isn’t much you can do. There are a couple of exercises available on YouTube but iv always been too lazy to try them out, and I just ride it through. It could not be sciatica, so better mention it to your midwife.
