Can I have a ppp? In Oct my partners cousin messaged me asking if we had anything planned for this weekend to which I replied yes it’s our daughters birthday (6). Her birthday is Fri and party Saturday. Then in January we got a save the date postcard for their wedding for this Saturday. I was rather cross so told my partner he should reply so I didn’t say something I’d regret. (every year we invite his family to her birthday party and not once have any of them been, but each time we get an invite to a baby shower, birthday party etc we always go). Anyway, turned out he didn’t reply to her as he didn’t know what to say. March we got another official invitation so I text saying I was sorry but we have a prior engagement. His family have taken a huff with me and the cousin and aunty have unfriended me and his mum had a bit of a rant at me that she doesn’t have much family can we not change our minds and go. Am I wrong to be so pissed off? Both at my partner for not telling them they could have arranged a different date or his family for just not bothering about our daughters?
