Can I have a ppp. My heart is hurting so much right now I don’t know what to do 😞
My FIL was diagnosed with cancer today 😞 we don’t know the full extent yet but I’m struggling 😞 my partner has shut himself off and locked himself away, he has bad anxiety and very recently a friend was diagnosed with cancer and passed away 3 weeks later. I think he’s absolutely terrified that the same will happen.
He dad has given up already he doesn’t want to fight it. I don’t know what to do to help them both. Currently his dad’s in hospital which is making him feel worse about himself.
What can I do to help them?
My heart is hurting so bad for them both but I don’t want to show emotion until my partner feels he can incase he breaks down when he’s not ready to. I’m so scared my partner will spiral as the cancer is genetic and has taken 2 male members of the family so he is going to have to have tests too to find out if he carries the gene. I don’t want to lose him. I can’t. He’s previously suffered with addiction and I’m so scared he will relapse! I don’t know what I want from this post but I have no one to speak to that isn’t my partner
