Can I have a ppp.

***please help***

My son is 20 months old and his temper is terrible. He has been banging his head now for around 10 months when things don’t go his way or when he is told no (have tried re-wording so that he’s not hearing the word no but it makes no difference) , he throws himself backwards and has given himself a few really sore ones and I’m so worried he is going to do himself damage. My health visitor has just told me to ignore his behaviour and that it’s normal for toddlers his age to go through this stage but I can’t ignore him when he does it as he has absolutely no regard for what’s around him when he’s throwing himself and it’s quite a long time for it to be a phase. It’s at the stage I’m scared to take him out of his pram when we are out so he doesn’t end up smacking his head on the concrete. Don’t know what to do anymore, it’s awful watching someone you love so much hurting them self.
Please if anyone has any advice or things I should try please let me know. Thank you
