Can I have a ppp? Will try to keep it as short as possible just really unsure what to do.
Been with my employer for 4 year now, I went on maternity last year to have my second child and they replaced my job role without informing me. When my maternity ended I didn’t even know if I had a job or not I called and emailed and nobody could tell me anything. I was told I had to take holidays to get pay, I ended up taking 5 weeks yet on payday I wasn’t paid a penny so I called and HR department basically said that they had a role for me and were waiting to see when I could start even though no-one got in touch and they sent me an manual payment of wages. So I started this role that was offered and I do nothing for 16 hours a week it sounds like a dream but it’s hell. Standing around doing nothing while I’m paying someone to look after my children. I went last week to speak to HR and express my concerns they said they would speak to my manager and get back to me. We are due to have a chat tomorrow about it but after everything they have put me through I just don’t want to continue to work there, I have gotten advice from acas and a solicitor but I’m being told different things by different people too I just wanted to see if anyone had any advice or has been through something similar.
