Can I have a ppp?

Basically myself and my partner are a bit concerned about his son, my stepson. He’s 5 years old. His mum lives in a 4 bedroom house with her mum, a 50 year old lodger her partner, her 11 year old daughter, 4 year old son and 8 month old son. Along with numerous pets. She keeps having babies with different men and it really confused step son. Now our concern is sleeping arrangements. Obviously lodger has own room, 11 year old has own room, mum and partner sleep in a room with 8 month old. Stepson (5 years old) sleeps in nan’s room in a tiny cordoned off corner with a baby gate and just his bed. Surely this isn’t right? Does anybody else think this is wrong? Up until baby was born he was sleeping in this tiny section with his mum in the room. They aren’t moving out and won’t give him his own room. Myself and partner are just a little concerned as it doesn’t seem a normal situation and we only have his welfare at heart before people start we in no way want to cause trouble. Hence asking advice and not taking it up with mum. Thanks.
