Can I have a ppp?
I’m very upset at my partner and I’m not sure if I am over reacting. We were living with his parents and his mum kicked us out unexpectedly because I decided to bring up a issue with my partner. (She has always backed up my partner no matter if right or wrong and has always had problems with me discussing things with him that might upset him) This put a strain on our relationship and almost broke us up. A week later while we were still homeless and trying to sort out our relationship and life it was his mum’s bday. We both arrived separately and gave flowers and a card. She has asked for theatre tickets for her self, my partner and the other sibling. Fast forward 1 month later. We are in our own place and just surviving financially because of the unexpected expenses from moving as we didn’t own anything and had to buy everything. My patner and sibling have gone half in the 3 tickets for her bday which is just under $300 each. Am I wrong to be upset at my partner for getting her the tickets? I feel like she had no right asking we already gave flowers and a card and after she kicked us out and knew we were financially struggling and trying to get back on our feet. I feel like my partner is rewarding her and validating that what she did was ok.
