Can I have a ppp

So Christmas we have been invited to my other half’s mums house.
Me or my children haven’t seen her in a while due to family disagreement.
I just don’t like the way she favourites 1 over the other 3. I feel they should all be treated the same way,it upsets my oldest the way things are he gets very down when he’s seen her and I want all my children to have a great Xmas this year due to a very horrible year 😞. Just want to no what everyone would do? I want to go and talk to her before the day but just don’t no how to put it.
