Anyone on here type two diabetic? I haven’t felt good all day got the bug but I did force my dinner down me and I’ve drank a bottle of lucazade but I still can’t get my sugar levels above 5 what am I meant to do as I’m not allowed to go to bed with bellow 6, there’s no chance I can eat as I will just be sick😞😷😷 what do I do??

Lucozade isn’t a glucose drink like it used to be its had a lot of sugar taken out… I’m type one best thing to get sugars up is jelly type stuff chocolate doesn’t really work as it takes too long and only ups them a little. Try 5 jelly babies or fruit pastels of you have any. They’re best for hypos x
I have an illness where if I vomit and can’t keep my medicine down I have to go to a and e, sounds like you need to be kept an eye on.
Have you got any glucogel? If so rub it into your gums , this will go straight into your blood system instead of your stomach. My daughter is type 1 x
Call 111 for advice please as they can advise on what to do next please dont drink coke will send your blood sugar over hope you get it sorted
How bout glass of coke sugar in it might help bring them up esp if u can’t eat love x
Glass of warm water with 3 teaspoons of sugar or if you have them or stomach them 6 jelly babies xx
Try drinking some pure orange juice or eating a chocolate bar xx
if you can’t eat have a cup of tea with sugar or a hot chocolate
Make a paste off sugar and water and rub it on your gums
Chocolate and some orange juice x
Oasis is a really sugary drink
