Can I have a private post please 🙊 basically I was sacked from my apprentice in July during my 12 week probation period for ‘suspicion of attempted theft’ (there was no proof of me intending to take the item) basically back story before everyone jumps down my throat I worked in a pharmacy and I was waiting for a medication to come in for my sons prescription so it come in the delivery on the Monday and I took it out of the box and placed it on the shelf with all the staffs personal belongings so that it wouldn’t be given out as my son needed it. My manager seen it about an hour later and asked who had put it there so I told her it was me not thinking I’d done anything wrong to which she explained you can’t place things there as anyone could have popped it in there bag so we had a discussion and she basically said it was fine I was then off the next two days and came in the Thursday morning she pulled me to one side and explained that the super intendant has told her immediate dismissal for suspicion of attempted theft because the way he seen it was I had placed it there to take home even though I had the prescription for it 😕 my advice needed is I have a job interview today and haven’t but this job on my review as it was only a 10 week job, do I A. Leave it as that and just tell them my last employer was the company I have a good track record with and worked with for almost three years or do I tell them I worked there and got fired for suspicion of attempted theft also if B. How on earth do I tell this to my potential new employer without blowing the interview I’ve been up all night thinking about it xx
