Can I have a private post please, but no nasty comments…I’m down enough as it is and sorry for the long post.
I’m currently pregnant and my now ex partner as left me because I don’t give him enough attention etc. I’ve been suffering with a lot of issues with the way I look and that I couldn’t get anything right for him. He has now basically told me that when I have the baby, he wants to take the baby on his own and i said for the first few weeks, I won’t want my newborn baby to be away from me for a little while but he can see the baby whenever he likes, take baby for a few hours etc but not all day/night straight away. I feel like he’s wanting to take the baby for his time, pretty much when I’ve had the baby 😢 and he’s also said if I want to go down that route then he can be an a******* also! All this is making me feel like I can’t go ahead with any more of the pregnancy, please don’t judge me, but i really don’t know what to do anymore! I don’t know what’s for the best.
I have no support or no-one to talk to. Can anyone give me any advice at all? x

you need to look at it from his side too. he’s an equal parent and a few hours a week with your new born isn’t a lot. it would be worse if he didn’t want to be involved
