Can I have a private post please?
I am so annoyed with my mil and fil, due to circumstances me and my partner work full time so they help loads which we are really greatful for, his mum is retired and his dad works self employed, my mum and dad help if possible but both have full time jobs! The issue I have is that when my mum and dad help out a little more his parents start arguements saying we don’t include them etc now a little back story is my h2b has a daughter from a previous relationship and they constantly do things with her such as Santa visits and swimming on a weekly basis(she is 7) and our 1 year old doesn’t get included. He has caused an almighty arguement because my dad was taking her for a drs appointment while I was at work! This year we have his 7 year old on crimbo eve till 11 Christmas Day so we invited them round early morning then said we would go next year to their house for dinner so his other little one was included in the family dinner but they are causing drama as we will be at my parents this year! It’s causing a lot of strain between me and my partner as he is afraid to upset them but am I being to harsh stopping them helping with childcare and just seeing her as any normal grandparent would?? Please no bashing!
