ladies,
Do you think I’m over reacting? I went to have a shower while my hubby watched our little boy (5 weeks yesterday). before I could get in the shower I heard my little man crying so went to check, he was in his bouncer, face all red and crying and my Oh was out side on the balcony smoking a fag. I think his out of order leaving him to cry to SMOKE! just taking the piss. my husband say he was not crying when he went out there, but if I heard him from the bathroom then surly he could he him from the balcony, put down his stupid fag and go to our son. I’m so angry with him, do you think I’m over reacting and what he done is ok?

Could he not have waited and had his smoke after you had finished your shower and dressed yourself etc…. Men I swear sometimes they really are selfish pigs. You are right to be fuming .
He is in the wrong…do u make sure he wears a coat or a blanket when he smokes? As the smoke stays on ur clothes for 45mins after u have smoked and washed his hands after? smoking then picking the baby up is a big no no x
That’s not okay. My oh smokes as well and since he’s not allowed to smoke around the baby, if he heard him crying and he knows I’m in the shower, he’ll out his stuff and come to the baby as any sensible person would.. I would be fuming!
I’d be angry too! You’d be better off taking your little boy in the bathroom with you, atleast he wouldn’t be ignored! Selfish that cigarettes come before your own child. Sickens me x

Taking a shower only takes like 5 to 20mins ? He could of waited.
And if baby was sleeping then he’d went out & baby awoke then that’s different but fact baby was awake & in a toy that states not to be left alone in, is wrong.
No I dont think your over reacting at all. He could of waited a few minutes until you had your shower and then went out for a smoke. I would be fuming at him over it
Of course you’re not overreacting! Your hubby is out of order he can’t just watch baby for a few minutes?! Wow. Good luck for the future.
I would be angry too, I don’t smoke so don’t know if that’s why I would be even more pissed off. Surly he could have given u time for the shower then went. Just thinking of himself.
I would be angry too. Why couldn’t he just wait for you to have a bloody shower ? Selfish in my opinion.
Won’t hurt to let ur baby cry, but smoking and a new born drives me potty

No you are not overreacting. All you wanted was a shower in peace he could have waited for his cigarette.
