Can I have a private post please. Me and my ex have been split for 3 months. We have a 18 month daughter together. He sees her Monday, Wednesday and Friday when he finishes work at 5:30, baths her and put her bed for 6:30 then goes. He also sees her Saturday 9-1 and Sunday 1-6. At the weekend it just feels like the arrangements aren’t working. When he brings her back Saturday she’ll have a 1/2 hour nap so wakes 2/3 then has her dinner at 4:30 and bed for 6:30 so it’s like I don’t get to take her out that day because what’s the point. I suggested him having her a full day 9-4 on either a Saturday or Sunday as I feel we would both benefit from this better. But he’s having none of it. Because I don’t work he says I get a lot more time with her which yes is true but I also don’t work because we wouldn’t of been able to afford childcare. How do you come to an agreement? How often does your child dads see them? Or am I being unreasonable.. thanks.

You’ll get help with childcare now you’re single and have no job. Well when she’s 2. I’d tell him to accept it or don’t come on a weekend. That’s the most pointless thing ever. My son goes to his dad’s on a Friday night til Saturday teatime one weekend and Friday night til Sunday teatime the next weekend so I still get the odd weekend with him x
