Can I have a private post please – my daughter’s 4 years old & she’s had a best friend at school for a few months & this week she’s been round a few times & when she’s been round I’ve noticed a few comments she’s made towards/about my daughter. She’s said “Can you stop shouting, you’re giving me a headache” when they’ve been playing dolls & she’s moaned that my daughter is too babyish & she doesn’t want to play with her anymore. I have a baby also & when the girls were playing with the baby in her bouncer, my daughter was tickling her & her friend took her arms away & said “don’t do that, you’re so rough”. There’s more little comments as well, but they’re the main ones I was concerned about. I’ve spoken to my partner (who hasn’t been there at the time) & he’s laughed it off but I don’t know whether I’m being overprotective or I’m right to be worried my daughters spending so much time with someone who’s chipping away at her confidence? TIA.
