Not baby related just looking for some advice if possible
I posted before about my friend being given a section 8 for rent arrears. Basically the story goes like this her landlord gave her a section 21 to try and get her out of his house because he wanted the property back after my friend had fallen behind on her rent after loosing her job and claiming housing benefit. The section 21 was invalid due to the wrong paper work being submitted. After this her landlord served a section 8 on her for outstanding rent arrears of £1620 which she has proof the rent arrears are actually just over £500 ( not sure where landlord got his figures from) she also has evidence that at the end of next month she will have no rent arrears at all because of the way the rent falls and the way housing benefit pay landlord will receive an extra payment resulting in the rent arrears cleared next month. She has court on Monday for this has anyone been in this situation or know what will likely happen she also had a little boy (3) any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. thank you.
