Can I have a private post please… So I have been single for a long time. I have two kids and I am bringing them up alone without their dads help or support etc…(his choice not mine) I recently started talking to a guy.. we get on really well and were talking everyday.. we went on a date it was really good. I had to take the kids with me as i had no childcare (the date was bowling and food) he was the one who told me to bring them along. I felt a bit unsure about it but i told the kids we were going out with mummys old friend. He was really good with them.. after that day its like the converstion is dead.. but then messaged him saying maybe we should stay as friends because i cant date without my kids etc… he messaged back saying he doesnt mind blah blah blah and was really nice about how i was feeling.. but its like he isnt interested anymore but wont just tell me… he is out of a 5 year relationship at the beggining of the year. Still owns a house and car with her. But she doesnt live there anymore. Apparently they are still friends and stuff… i dont want to let someone be around me or my kids if he isnt serious obv stability is what we need… any advice or opinions..would be appreciate…I dont know if im being silly. When I do see him its nice and comfortable but when he leaves I barely get messages now… He is coming round friday night as my parents have the kids over night… thanks.
