Can I have a private post please.xx

My ex was physically abusive and stalked me. there are police records and social services were involved.. When I was 6 months pregnant I left. Social services are no longer involved and my ex hasn’t done anything since a second restraining was put in place.. My baby is nearly a year old and he is not on the birth certificate. I did this because at the time I was terrified about of him taking her, not ever seeing her again as he’s shown to be very controlling and nothing was standing in his way. Not putting him on the birth certificate has made people comment on my life choices, but I felt like it was my only option and I felt rushed to escape and protect my child. Also he was on bail at the time of signing. I think about it a lot and it makes me feel guilty (child’s sake) .. Anyone been in this situation or not have the father on the birth certificate for the same reasons? please no comments stating reasons why I shouldn’t have done this. Just looking for any moms in the same boat. Thanks
