Can I have a private post please?

I’m due to go back to work shortly after my maternity leave, my partner’s parents​ have fallen out with me because my family member will be taking care of our child whilst we’re both at work, his parents think that they should have her one day (even though they both work full time). They only see our child twice a month despite only living a 10 minute drive away and when they do come round it’s because they are passing whilst on their way to town so it’s only ever a 10 minute meet. Our child has no relationship with them, won’t go to them and cries etc. My partner has told them that they need to make more of an effort but they always have an excuse. We can’t go to theirs as they have a large 6 month old husky who bites everything, I’d never expect them to lock the puppy away but we had to buy a new car seat because it chewed it. They’re now on holiday for a fortnight but never came round to see our child before they left. I really want them to have a relationship, how do I make them see that they are missing out on so much and I’d like them to start speaking to me again.
