Can I have a private post please?

I’m wondering if anyone has suffered with ovulation pains that are crippling since giving birth? My daughter was born in 2012 by C section; in the last two years I’ve started to experience pain every 3rd/4th ovulation which started off feeling like period pains and then turned into a spasm that would immobilise me for 5/10 minutes before disappearing with no trace.

However on Thursday, the spasm lasted for over two hours and I was in so much pain I had to phone an ambulance. The ambulance never arrived because I wasn’t considered a priority but I spoke to one of the paramedic officers who told me I needed to go to the doctors and push for them to refer me for scans.

I had to have an emergency doctor‘s appointment and I was tested for a water infection and the pregnancy, my stomach was extremely sore to the touch so he recommended taking mefenamic acid on my next ovulation and would refer me for a scan.

However that was Thursday and today I am still feeling discomfort. Most of my stomach muscle pain has now gone but it’s left me with a feeling around my backend that feels like hot knives when I need to poop, pass wind or sit down. It’s really getting me down and it’s now absolutely terrified me as to what my period will be like in a couple of weeks and also what my next ovulation is going to be like 😞 xx
