Can I have a private post please?

Just want to see what everyone thinks. So basically it’s my daughters birthday party soon & it’s a big one she is going to be one
I’m planning on having all the family around to celebrate however I don’t think I want to. My fiancées family are lovely & spoil our daughter with attention & love & that is all I want. They think the world of her. Generally make a proper fuss & phone everyday & always ask if we need anything & they can’t wait to see us etc. However my family arnt so bothered. I mean when she was first born they were (just like everyone) but now they can’t even come in when they say they are going to. They don’t phone for days & if I try to phone they say they will phone me back later as they are busy, but never do.
But what done it most is last week I seen they had a family get together & even invited my ex & his partner along with my 2 sisters & there kids ect. I didn’t have a clue until I seen the pics on facebook, Same as on my mum’s birthday ww all had a get together then that evening she went out with my sisters & I didn’t have a clue.
I know I haven’t done anything wrong as I hardly see them. I also go to see them too so it’s not like it’s one way.
I’ve never asked or relied on them for much, quite independent tbh as a family.
But to the point, my daughters birthday I’m thinking of celebrating with my fiancées family as they actually care about her & will make a fuss where as I’m abit bitter towards my family & feel like leaving the afternoon free on the day so they can come in if they like rather than having a huge get together where we are putting on food & drink. Then have a family day with our daughter just the 3 of us.
Do you think I’m being petty & silly or do I suck it out & try to make it a good day?
