Can I have a private post please?
So my lb fell over and split his head open on the corner of our coffee table about 3 months ago. After lots of tears and a trip to A&E he was glued up and we were sent home. Fast forward to today and his scar seems to be getting worse (more redder) and there seems to be white spots appearing all across his scar. Can anyone offer any advice. Will these disappear in time ? I feel awful enough as it is 😪😪

Those spots are normal my son has them in scars on his chin he split open and had glued in an accident. They come and go for about 2 years before the scar settles and starts to go white.
It will fade my daughters is in the same place and barely noticeable now! Although they stitched hers and didn’t glue to minimise scarring x
Hun I don’t know why you feel awful accidents happen. Yeah it’s a horrible thing to go through but children hurt themselves. It could be because of the heat my scars go red if I get too hot. If your worried go the doctors of it doesn’t get any better but it looks completely normal to me. I did read something about putting butter on an inflamed scar apparently it soothes it. X

You can buy a scar reduction serum from boots.
