can i have app please, can anyone give me some advice about residency orders. My son is out of the country atm with his dad and isnt well, hes come out with a bad cold, which his dad is blaming on me, when he was fine when he left my care on sunday. Hes refusing to bring him back once theyre back in the country and i want to put in place a legal arrangement that means my son will stay with me, as that is what’s best for him. My sons dad sent me some vile messages last night calling me everything under the sun for ‘letting our son get ill’ i have 5 years worth of derogatory name calling and empty threats to back me up. what I want to know is how much does it cost for a residency order? Ive been on the phone to social services myself just now, they also mentioned a preventative steps order so he would need my permission to take him on holiday. I want my back fully covered so that my ex cant take my son off me, as he isnt the greatest dad, but i have always said that i wouldnt stop him from seeing our son cuz its not fair on our son, unless there was major safeguarding issues. I’m also due to move house this month, so would that affect the residency order at all?
