Can I have have another private post please. I have an four year old boy and five year old girl. They currently share an room. I will be putting my son in his own room but it’s not going to be until at least August. As the room he is moving into needs declutting and decorating and needs carpet and I can’t afford to do it now. The problem is they literally trash their room everyday. Weather they wake up in the morning and do it. Or after school or on weekends. They don’t sit and play they just get everything single toy out and throw it about. They’ve broken their toy box. They too stuff. They don’t actually just sit and play. I honestly just want to go in their bag it all up and put it in the shed till they learn to treat things nicely. They’ve drawn all over the wall. Pulled the curtain pole off. Broke their stair gate. They are good kids. They are as good as gold at school. It’s went they come home. They just bounce of each other. I’m on my own and there dad isn’t involved so it’s always me dealing with it. I just want to cry. My home always looks trashed . It’s exhausting. I don’t know what to do. I’ve tried the naughty step, reward charts, taking stuff away. Etc. I’m at a loss😭😭
