Can I have ppp, hi everyone I’m just slightly worried at the minute and looking for some advice (not too harsh on me please) CAFCASS are phoning me tomorrow before first hearing and I have some concerns I’d like to air but I’ve heard that they can sometimes be a bit harsh so I’m just looking on views as to wether you think my concerns are reasonable?? 1. The reason we split up in the first place is because he was drunk and aggressive to me and my mother in front of my child (he did have contact after this but I felt supervised was best until I could trust him again) 2. A family member who spends a lot of time where my child could potentially be living is on a rape charge 3. He hasn’t disclosed an address on his form where my family nurse has said there is a safeguarding issue so he has done this intentionally so they don’t look into it, I’m just so worried I’m being unreasonable and nasty but I generally am just stating these points to cafcass so my child isn’t in danger😞

They are all valid points and I would put them all across, CAFCASS in my opinion are useless they literally just write what ever each parent has said in a ‘report’ without even checking facts! I was totally honest in mine but my ex tried to make out my family were a danger to my daughter and violent! Wasn’t until social services got involved that they saw it all as lies! 🙄 good luck in court though Hun, just keep your cool, the judge just wants to know the kids best interest is at heart and sort out contact/ a resolution that benefits the child only. I got residency of my daughter and my ex got Saturday visits but that’s what he always had I never stopped contact so it was pointless for him although I was happy I got residency on paper x
No you aren’t at all but the problem is if he has him atm they will put the dads side first and they make a report etc I’m not airing my situation on here but please inbox me as I know what it’s like to deal with them x
