Can I please have a post? In need of advice as I’m not getting told much here! So I’m 34 weeks, 2cm dilated but long cervix, I have been in hospital for 24 hours as I hadn’t felt baby move again which was the 6th time! Anyway on monitor I was contracting regularly and very strongly so I have had all tests done under the sun, they wanted to keep me in to see if I progressed and went into labour, I’m still having contractions every couple of minutes, doctor has said they can see and feel them, I’m just waiting for consultant to come and examine me again, was last examined at 3am and was still 2cm, what will happen if I haven’t progressed yet again? I can’t take this pain much longer, I haven’t slept, I’ve got other babys to look after, I can’t go home if I’m still like this, I feel horrible, I feel like I need to either have baby or pains to stop

this was like my 3rd pregnancy I was in labour from 32 weeks. in and out of hospital. but I got to my section date at 39 weeks. my other kids were 12 and 6 weeks early
hopefully you get some answers soon.
maybe arrange child care cause if they do induce you baby might need a wee stay in nicu xx
