Can i post a private message thanks. I have 4 kids with my husband. He is generally a good man, very good with the kids but is very selfish and i feel we are living his life. He would never do anything nice for me and birthdays and christmas are always a let down. I know some ppl are just like that but i dont think he has any respect for me. He drinks practically everyday, mostly in the house and in the evening even if its just a can or 2. Maybe twice a week he goes the pub but only for 2-3hours. One of the kids said to him the other day “why do you drink beer everyday” hes the only one up late enough to see him drinking. I asked him to stop and just keep it for weekend. He barely listened to me. Im pregnant and seem to be more angrier than usual. On my birthday he didnt say happy birthday to me, didnt treat me nice at all that day. I got money in a card (no effort) and then said he was getting cans to celebrate my birthday and i cant drink. I work full time, look after most of the house work and shopping ect. Im really annoyed at the moment cos he came in the other night drunk and the baby was sick in her cot and my hip was sore so i was limping around and he should have been there. I told him not to drink in the house again then last night he opened a can. I poured it into the sink and the 2 cans in the fridge. Im really thinking of finishing it so i said to him did he want to be with me and his answer was “if i changed my atitude” and that i have a bad temper. Should i just stay with him for the kids? I do love him but surely der is more to life than this
