Can I post please, I’m totally stressed out! I had the marina coil fitted about 6 weeks ago, while there I told the doc I was due to go on holiday (leaving tomorrow) so she said she would leave a note on my file for a proscription to stop my bleeding should I need it. Turns out i of course am still bleeding so the got the tablets. They are called provera. Since taking them I’m bleeding more and getting seriously bad period pains! Reading the leaflet they aren’t what we discussed as I was ment to get a contraception pill which this is not. So my question is has anyone used provera to stop periods? Have they worked? Should things be getting worse? I’m going to feel like such a failure mum if I can’t join in on this family holiday because of pain etc I don’t know what to do!
